FOCUS Art Fair

‘Cultural Dialogue’…

또한 ‘Crossing Forms’, ‘Face to face by Kim Yeong Jun x Yoshida Yuni’, ‘Persistent Visions by Erika Tan x Illustrious Company’ 등의 프로젝트를 비롯해 한국관광공사(Korea Tourism Organization), TEO NOMAD, HL PROJECT 등도 참가 명단에 포함돼 있다.

FOCUS Art Fair London 2026 to Spotlight the Expanding Landscape of Asian Contemporary Art

Saatchi Gallery hosts the fair from 15–18 October under the theme “Cultural Dialogue”

From traditional craftsmanship to AI-driven digital art, FOCUS brings diverse Asian and diaspora voices to London

FOCUS Art Fair London 2026 will return to Saatchi Gallery in London from 15 to 18 October, presenting a broad spectrum of contemporary artistic practices from across Asia and the Asian diaspora.

Under the theme “Cultural Dialogue,” this year’s edition will explore how artists shaped by different cultures, histories and lived experiences can meet through contemporary art and generate new forms of international exchange.

Positioning itself as a global platform for Asian contemporary art, FOCUS connects artists and galleries from East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the wider Asian diaspora with international collectors, curators, institutions and media.

With editions in London, New York and Paris, the fair aims to strengthen a global ecosystem in which Asian artistic voices can engage with new audiences and establish long-term cultural and professional connections.

“Cultural Dialogue” at the Heart of the 2026 Edition

The theme “Cultural Dialogue” reflects FOCUS Art Fair’s broader vision of contemporary art as a catalyst for cross-cultural connection.

Visitors will encounter works spanning a wide range of practices, from pieces rooted in traditional craftsmanship and materials to experimental digital works incorporating emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.

By bringing together these diverse approaches, FOCUS Art Fair London 2026 seeks to demonstrate that Asian contemporary art is not a fixed geographical or stylistic category, but an evolving field shaped by migration, technology, identity, heritage and cultural exchange.

The inclusion of artists from both Asia and the Asian diaspora further expands the conversation, offering perspectives on identity, hybridity, tradition and innovation across national and cultural boundaries.

Galleries and Projects from Across the International Art Scene

The 2026 exhibitor list published by FOCUS includes galleries and projects from a wide range of international locations.

Participants currently listed include Gore Gallery in London, Mizuma Gallery in Singapore, SOLUNA FINE ART in Hong Kong, IKSEON ARTS CENTER in Seoul and MAISON HANBIT, which operates between Paris and Seoul.

Special presentations and projects include “Crossing Forms,” “Face to face by Kim Yeong Jun x Yoshida Yuni,” and “Persistent Visions by Erika Tan x Illustrious Company.” Korea Tourism Organization, TEO NOMAD and HL PROJECT also appear among the participating exhibitors and organisations.

The programme reflects FOCUS’s ambition to move beyond the conventional gallery-booth format by incorporating collaborative projects, experimental presentations and partnerships with cultural organisations.

Asian Contemporary Art Takes Its Place During London’s Major Art Week

FOCUS Art Fair London 2026 will take place during one of the busiest periods in London’s international art calendar.

Frieze London, Frieze Masters and several other major fairs will also be held in the city during the same week, attracting collectors, galleries, curators and cultural institutions from around the world.(Biennale)

Against this backdrop, FOCUS will provide a dedicated platform for discovering new developments in Asian contemporary art and offer international audiences an opportunity to encounter both established names and emerging artistic practices.

FOCUS has developed an international programme of exhibitions and art fairs across Europe and the United States, with Saatchi Gallery serving as a significant London venue for its presentation of contemporary Asian art.

Connecting Tradition, Technology, Asia and the World

A defining feature of FOCUS Art Fair London 2026 is its understanding of “Asia” not simply as a geographical region, but as an evolving cultural conversation taking place across borders.

Works that reinterpret traditional materials and techniques will be presented alongside digital and AI-based practices, creating a setting in which multiple generations, media and artistic languages can coexist.

Through these encounters, FOCUS seeks to create new perspectives for collectors while building opportunities for artists and galleries to establish connections with international institutions and audiences.

As the official poster declares, FOCUS is “The global platform for Asian Contemporary Art.” The 2026 London edition is set to transform Saatchi Gallery into a meeting place for discovery, cultural exchange and new perspectives on the future of Asian contemporary art.
